Lineage
Sifu John Dolic
A Qigong teacher and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner who spent more than nine years living and studying in China.
John Dolic was the first Westerner to graduate from the six-year full-time course at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, giving him an extensive foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese health practices.
He is also the publisher of Qigong Chinese Health Magazine and has played an important role in introducing Chinese Qigong and health practices to Western students.
Master Simon Blow
Master Simon Blow has been a full-time professional Qigong teacher (Laoshi) since 1992. He was initiated into Dragon Gate Daoism (龙门派) and received the Daoist name Xin Si, meaning “Genuine Wisdom”.
Simon Blow is an initiated student and 29th Generation lineage holder of Da Yan – Wild Goose Qigong (大雁功). He is also a Deputy Secretary of the World Academic Society of Medical Qigong in Beijing, China, and a Committee Member of Wushu Tai Chi Qigong Australia (WTQA).
Simon has studied and taught a broad range of traditional and medical Qigong practices, including Ba Duan Jin (八段锦). His book The Art of Life includes instruction and discussion of Ba Duan Jin, reflecting his approach to Qigong as a practice for health, vitality and longevity.
Through his many years of dedicated practice and teaching, Simon Blow has helped transmit traditional Qigong practices to students in Australia and internationally.
Churn Chi
Churn Chi was certified in Qigong by Master Simon Blow and learned Standing Ba Duan Jin (站式八段锦) as part of her training with him.
Her training reflects both the direct transmission of Ba Duan Jin through Master Simon Blow and her wider study of traditional and medical Qigong.
In addition to learning from Simon Blow, Churn Chi has personally studied and learned other Qigong practices directly from Sifu John Dolic, giving her training connections to both teachers.
She now teaches Standing Ba Duan Jin (站式八段锦) as part of her teaching of Traditional and Medical Qigong, preserving the principles of the practice while making them accessible to contemporary students.
